Description for blind and low-vision visitors
A horizontal painting featuring one dominant bird perched on a thick branch that runs diagonally across the lower right. The bird has a bright orange-and-red head with a curving yellow crest and a long downturned beak, a striped blue-green body banded with rows of wavy lines, a large rounded back filled with red plumage dotted with pale arrow-like marks, and a dark plume tail at the right. Its yellow scaly feet grip the branch. The upper background is pale blue with swirling cloud lines, while the lower background glows yellow with a band of warm orange and pink rays in the lower right corner. At the lower left two butterflies rest on a forked branch: one with pink-and-red wings, the other with green-and-red wings. All elements are crisply outlined and richly textured.
