Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A horizontal painting on a bright-yellow ground that opens to pale-blue clouds across the top. In the upper area several birds with long slender beaks and outstretched wings face right, their plumage densely patterned in red, blue, green and orange with concentric lines and dots. Dominating the center-left is a very large fish seen in profile, its head turned left with a round eye and serrated mouth, its body striped and scaled in red, green and blue with rows of small pale fish swimming within a green band along its flank. Across the lower portion, schools of tiny stylized fish in blue, red, orange and green dart over the yellow ground. The work is warm and high-keyed, every form outlined and filled with meticulous repeating patterns.
