Description for blind and low-vision visitors

A horizontal painting dominated by a single large rounded bird occupying the left and center against a vivid yellow ground. The bird's oval body is packed with fine multicolored dots, paisley shapes, scrolls and feather motifs in pink, red, purple, blue and orange, ringed by a scalloped orange border. Trailing fringes of red and pink lines hang from the lower body. A purple cloud-like shape spreads across the upper left corner. The bird's long neck curves up to a small round head with a single eye and a thin pointed beak in the upper center; a second, smaller crested bird-head floats at the upper right. In the lower right stands a tall green and orange plant or tree trunk with serrated leaves, and dark curling black hook shapes float to its left at the lower center. The yellow background is filled with faint incised lines.
